Very Large Woolly Mammoth M3 molar

This is a real stunner. A very large a beautifully preserved M3 mammoth molar. Whereas some mammoth remains originate from the North Sea, this one was found in a chalk pit. It is really nice and unusual to see a large molar like this which is intact to this extent. The roots of the tooth are clearly visible where it was anchored into the jaw.

A massive and very impressive fossil.

Length 28cm x 14cm high x 9cm wide, weighing in at 3.5kg!
