Antique real human medically prepared articulated arm
This is a very old example of an articulated human arm. From the colour and patina of the bones and the style of articulation this would probably date from the late 19th Century.
The bones have a really nice deep rich colour and great patina which has been gained in over a century of use. This would probably have been part of a whole skeleton and over the years has become separated. The hand has also separated from the arm bones and has been attached (a long time ago) with just a piece of wire. The articulation of the finger bones is a lovely example of Victorian skeleton preparation with the knuckles being hinged to show accurate articulation.
A really nice, old and unusual item,
