Real Human jawbone, medical specimen. Very good dentition.
Here is a medically prepared real human jawbone. This example was from a medical college collection. The jawbone must have become separated from the skull over the years as it doesn’t match any of the partial skulls in the collection. There is also the collection number still written on the jaw.
This example has all the teeth bar one which had been lost a long-time pre-mortem as the bone has healed over. The teeth all show considerable wear as a result of a very high roughage / grit diet.
Overall though this jaw is still in very good condition.
