Real human un-matched cranium medical specimen.
This cranium came with a collection of skulls from a medical school but unfortunately, it doesn't match any of the skulls in the collection. It has obviously become separated from the rest of the skull at some stage in the past.
The cranium is in good condition and complete. At some stage, it has had a coat of varnish probably to try to prevent it becoming friable and crumbling. It looks like there was something written on the front of the skull although that is partially removed and illegible now. With a bit of work (and acetone), the varnish and any writing would probably be easily removed.
The pins that held the hooks are still also in place.
