Vintage real human half medical skeleton in box.
This is a very nice example of a half medical skeleton probably prepared in the 1960's or 1970's. Judging by the stringing of the hand, foot and spine, I would guess that this was prepared and sold originally by the Adam Rouilly company although any labels on the box have since disappeared.
Overall, the skeleton is in very good condition and is complete. The hand and foot have all the bones strung together on nylon with movable stops that allow the bones to be separated for examination. The spine also has the same fittings and is strung to the sacrum.
The skull is in good condition although most of the front teeth have become lost over the years. The fragile ethmoid had also been broken inside the right orbit. Other than that, the skull is very clean and in good condition.
