Antique medical specimen real human jawbone
This jaw bone was an additional item that came in with a collection of skeletons. There was no skull that it matched with and must have come from another item in the past.
Most of the teeth have gone missing over the years with only 5 remaining. The condyle processes have become brittle and damaged over the years. There are also the remnants of coloured lines on the jaw to illustrate muscle attachments.
This has a really nice deep colour and patina.
