Real human annotated medical skeleton in box
This is a nice example of a medical skeleton, especially as it has all the annotations on the skull and bones from its time as a medical study item.
The skeleton is in good condition with all the ribs present, the hand and foot fully strung but only the coccyx missing. The vertebrae are all loose and just strung on a cord.
The skull is missing quite a lot of the teeth as can be seen in the photos. Apart from the missing teeth it is in quite good condition. The skull is very nicely annotated both outside and inside. This is also present on many of the bones. I am sure that it would be possible to clean this off but I think that this is part of the history of the skeleton and would have taken quite considerable time to complete
