Victorian real human annotated parietal bones partial disarticulated skull

These bones came as part of a collection from a medical school and have obviously had a lot of use over the years which has given them a great deep colour, polish and patina. Judging by the patina and the annotation, I am confident that these are 19th Century examples.

This is only two parietal bones and, unfortunately, the rest of the skull is now missing. These have been beautifully annotated in a lovely, scrolling copperplate handwriting. The ink has faded over the years but some of it is still legible.

There are also a couple of wormian bones still present on the lambdoid suture.
