Antique, medically prepared vertebral column / spine, sacrum and coccyx

This is a very nice item and was part of a collection from a medical school. A real human medically prepared and articulated spine complete with the sacrum.

The bones are all in pretty good condition for the age although there is little damage to some of the vertebral processes from crumbling as they have dried out with age. The bones are all very dark colour although it does appear that they may have had a coat of varnish a long time in the past to help prevent any further crumbling.

The vertebrae have all been re-strung as the old, waxed thread had perished over the years. The sacrum has a coccyx attached but this appears to have been made of plaster.
