Collection of antique medically prepared human disarticulated skull bones

These were part of a collection of study bones from a medical school. A bit of an odd mix of disarticulated skull bones including a partial frontal, three parietals, four temporals (including a matched pair), two occipitals and a sphenoid bone.

Most of the skull bones don't seem to match but may have been part of a teaching group. As you can see from the photos, these are old bones and have a lovely deep colour and patina. Some of the bones are even quite polished from many years of handling during studies.
